About

Welcome to The Backyard 90. Baseball starts in the back yard – whether it was your first bat, first glove or anything else that leads us to the dream of one day being in The Show.

We have built this page for the reason of celebrating that journey. From the major moments of the season to the major moments of the offseason. Enjoying the stories that connect us all to the game we love.

What is beginning in my backyard as a passion project will hopefully become a place for thoughtful baseball discussion, honest storytelling and an appreciation of baseball.

What we plan to cover is not just the Major League side of things. Whether that is analyzing individual games or stories outside of the actual game itself. We plan to dive into prospects and player development, hopefully getting a chance to interview and learn more about the future players. Revisit baseball culture and stories, moments that shaped the game into what it is today.

Here to keep the soul of the game alive, one article at a time, we thank you for joining us.
